Visionary's Client Services Manager runs for charity
On 14th May Elly Mitchell, Client Services Manager at Visionary Accountants, St Albans,completed the SuperHero 10K run with her friend Kate Hardaker. The friends were raising funds for World Cancer Research Fund UK, in memory of Elly’s father Julian Davis who died from cancer in 2014.

'Thank you to everyone who sponsored me. I am delighted that I raised £1,650 via Just Giving, plus a further £380 in offline donations and Gift Aid, for such a worthwhile charity. The grand total was double my initial fundraising target! Thank you to the Visionary Accountants team for all your support leading up to the race. The run went well and it was a lovely course round Regent’s Park. I was pleased to complete the run in under an hour, as running in the blistering sunshine made it more difficult. This was my first 10k so running with a friend and having all the spectator support really kept me going. I now have the bug, and although I said I wouldn’t do another, am already looking for a local 10k to sign up to so will keep training and regularly run the St Albans 5k Park Run.’
